Statement of Faith

 I believe in:

•  the Holy Bible as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct;

•  the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;

•   the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection, and His personal, visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory;

•   the Person of the Holy Spirit and His work of conviction, regeneration, and sanctification, who indwells every believer, equipping them with gifts for service and witness;

•   the necessity of new spiritual birth, in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone, and the importance of a life fully committed to the will of God in Christ;

•    the church as the one universal body of Christ who is the Head, called to be God's redeemed people.

 Ministry Statement

 Basically King Solomon and I have come to the same conclusion—there is a time and season for everything.  I especially enjoy encouraging audiences that no matter where we find ourselves in the process, we can leave a sweet fragrance in the lives we touch.

 I believe that God has gifted me in the area of creative and humorous communication, both speaking and writing.  This has been graciously affirmed over the last few years with several publishing credits and a busy speaking schedule.  If asked, I’d say my main gifts are that of encouragement, motivation and humor.

 My ministry statement comes from Colossians 2: 3-4: "My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
